Hello Golden Rule Charter Secondary Parents,
My name is Dr. A. R. Drake and I am the new principal of Golden Rule Charter Secondary. I came aboard in January and finished out the year. However, I am excited about the 2023-2024 school year and the opportunity to meet and build meaningful relationships with each of you.
I come to you with over 25 years of experience as an educator in multiple school settings ranging from elementary to high school, public to charter schools and urban to suburban schools . My experiences have helped to shape my philosophy that, “Anything is possible when the right environment is provided.” Thus, I will strive to create an atmosphere and environment that promotes and ensures academic success for all students while providing a safe and orderly environment that seeks to promote fairness and equity for all.
In closing, I am thrilled about this school year and I wholeheartedly believe that our school is a great school. Further, I believe that all great schools are the result of great teaching and active parental involvement. Thus, our campus will always welcome your input and active participation.
